2. Different conductor arrangements

The shape of the supports and their width are determined by the arrangement of the conductors, taking into account the minimum distances to be respected between conductors and ground, and between the conductors themselves (cf. ).

The different conductor arrangements (or line armament) and the advantages and disadvantages of these main armament methods are given below.
