5. Conclusion

The foregoing has introduced digital signal processing and its main tools, TFTD and TFD, followed by TZ for filtering. The signals handled are all deterministic and have enabled us to define and characterize these transforms. A natural follow-up to this presentation is to consider signals as they occur in nature. Two problems immediately arise: that of modeling these signals, and then that of the validity of the application of the previous tools.
