6. SoF and analysis of tolerance effects
The SoF of our circuit is evaluated in this section. The analysis consists in relating the variability of the key parameters to the margins on the amplitudes of the output signals in the case of the two ICs.
6.1 Margins and susceptibility risks
The EMC susceptibility constraint applied to a product depends on the probability of it operating in class A. As the state of the observable moves away from the expected level, we can report an EMC margin or risk of failure, and define an attached margin level. After simulating the EMC model of our proof-of-concept, we need to obtain statistics on the IC outputs. These values (e.g. averages) depend on their probability distributions.
