INTRODUCTION
The massive deployment of the Internet over the past three decades has been characterized by an almost exponential increase in the number of Internet Protocol (IP) networks placed under the responsibility of administrative entities duly identified to the regulatory body in charge, in particular, of responding to requests for the allocation of IP addresses
To route IP traffic both within and between these networks, dynamic routing protocols are activated to determine the best possible path to a given destination, by means of more or less complex route calculation algorithms.
