Absolute Volume Based Dynamic Capacity (AVBDC)

A dynamic capacity allocation mechanism that allocates capacity according to the absolute volume of traffic.

Adaptive Coding and Modulation (ACM)

A technique that dynamically adjusts the modulation scheme and code rate to optimize data transmission according to channel conditions.

Bandwidth-Time Unit (BTU)

Smallest unit in the structure of the time and frequency slicing hierarchy of the radio resource on the DVB-RCS2 channel.

BaseBand FRAME (BBFRAME)

The BB transmits the processed BB frame to the DVB receiver's terminal block for processing the network packets contained in the BB frame.
