6. Conclusions and outlook

In this article, we present an innovative EVF for training in the handling of stationary woodworking machines. Aimed more specifically at carpenters and joiners, this EVF is of particular interest in terms of safety practice and its contribution to reducing accidents in the workplace. The use of highly innovative technologies such as Augmented Reality and Passive Force Feedback was necessary to reproduce the constraints of the working environment in a realistic way. A dedicated LMS enables individual monitoring and control of learners' learning progress.

Initial studies show that this tool is particularly well-suited to the target training area. In particular, it reduces the workshop's work surface, improves the image of this training and ensures better learning follow-up.
