2. How do you choose an architectural style?

Choosing an architecture style is a very important decision in the design of any IT system. This choice has direct consequences on performance, reusability and interconnection with other systems.

"Pluralitas non est ponenda sine necessitate".

Ockham's razor is a principle of reasoning attributed to the Franciscan monk and philosopher William of Ockham, but known and formulated before him. Enunciated in the 15th century, this principle states: "Essential things must not be multiplied without necessity" (original Latin version: "pluralitas non est ponenda sine necessitate"). Also known as the "principle of simplicity", the "principle of parsimony" or the "principle of economy", it excludes the multiplication of reasons and demonstrations within a logical construction.
