2.1 Issues
Bringing two immiscible liquids into contact is a relatively common operation in material processing industries such as the chemical, petrochemical and metallurgy industries, and takes place, for example, during suspension polymerization, chemical reactions and extraction. In these processes, the dispersion of one liquid in another in the form of droplets is the key to success, and requires special attention.
