Falling film crystallization

Cold-wall molten-layer crystallization process in which the liquid phase trickles to the crystal surface.

Dynamic layer crystallization

Melt crystallization process in a layer on a cold wall in which the liquid phase is forced to circulate (pump...).

Static layer crystallization

Melt crystallization process in a layer on a cold wall in which liquid phase movements are solely due to natural convection.

Suspension crystallization

Continuous melt crystallization process in which crystals formed on cooled walls are suspended by scraping cold surfaces.
