3. Enantioselectivity of chiral mesoporous electrodes

3.1 Enantiomeric recognition

The selectivity of these electrodes is assessed by electrochemical measurements using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), using them as the working electrode. This type of voltammetry makes it possible to study the reduction or oxidation of a species at very low concentrations (of the order of 10 -8 mol.L -1 ). As a result, the affinity of one electrode for one enantiomer compared with another will also be accentuated, compared with the signal that would be obtained by conventional cyclic voltammetry.
