6. Adsorber sizing criteria

6.1 Definition of an adsorber

An adsorber is an adsorbent storage element used for purification by an adsorption process. This adsorber is generally axial, but can also be radial in the case of large adsorbent unit volumes and/or when you wish to minimize the pressure drop across the adsorption beds.
