As we have seen in [J 3 606] , for any calculation of adsorption capacity, it is necessary to know the current temperature, as this acts directly on the adsorption isotherm through the often non-negligible adsorption enthalpy ΔH associated with the gas/adsorbent couple. Thus, each of the PSA, VSA or VPSA processes presented in this dossier cyclically undergo not only pressure variations, but also significant temperature variations within the adsorbent beds.
