1. Forced mixture circulation

1.1 Sampling

Equilibrium is achieved during circulation of the mixture. This method uses a separator to collect all circulating and equilibrated phases. The mixture is prepared in a tank and then circulated by pumping, pressure gradient or boiling.

In the case of a pressure gradient, the mixture is pressurized and circulated through a tube which acts, firstly, as a heat exchanger and, secondly, as an equilibration system; equilibrium is reached in the turbulent flow of the two phases before they are separated and analyzed. There are many ways of doing this, not only for circulation, but also for control and analysis.
