7. From today to tomorrow

Various product ranges are currently available, corresponding to specific industrial uses: 25 soluble "colorant" extracts, 16 dispersible "pigment" products in powder or paste form (a limited range, but which can be used to produce a wide range of shades, apart from white). Roughly half of these products are sourced from raw materials grown in France.

Industrial production tools are now operational. A plant pigment production line has been specially designed. For reasons of security of supply, a large stock of dried plants is kept: it corresponds to the manufacture of 200-250 t of dyed textiles, 200-300 t of paints, or over 2,000 t of cosmetic care products.

Rigorous qualification and management of raw materials, manufacturing strategies adapted to demand, and colorimetric controls of unit batches from 20 to over 200 kg, guarantee quality...
