11. Bibliometric analysis of cold spray

Modern bibliometric analysis tools were developed almost at the same time as cold spray, making the process an ideal test subject. On the basis of the most advanced results in this type of analysis, derived from the work of Professor Khor (NTU/Singapore) (figure 34 ), cold spray is confirmed to have entered its phase of industrial dissemination since the late 2010s. This is borne out by the decline, or at least plateau, in the number of publications devoted to the process during this period. This is particularly the case in France and Russia, countries that have always been active in the field, with France in the lead, incidentally.
