These cases deal with silver metallurgy using different mining processes, linked to specific mineralizations and associations:

  • silver-bearing galena and sphalerite mill at Cannington (Australia). In this case, silver is recovered as a by-product of lead and zinc metallurgy;

  • plant processing native silver ore at Imiter (Morocco), combining gravity, cyanidation, flotation and smelting ;

  • heap leaching plants in California and State of Maine (Arizona), and stirred reactor chlorine leaching plants in Itos (Bolivia);

  • plant processing various gold and silver by-products at Rand Refinery (South Africa).
