3. Identify specific discharge prohibitions and restricted uses

VOCs by ICPEs ( Arrêté du 2 février 1998 relating to withdrawals and consumption as well as emissions of any kind from installations classified for environmental protection subject to authorisation) are subject to increasing constraints depending on the quantities emitted and the hazardousness of the products with regard to health or the ozone layer:

  • limitations on diffuse emissions (%) ;

  • limitations on canalised emissions (flows, concentrations) ;

  • solvent management plan ;

  • solvent emission control scheme.
