REACH has strengthened communication along the supply chain: in some cases, the SDS includes a description of the intended uses (the SDS then becomes an extended SDS); any deviation from this is the responsibility of the downstream user. The latter must carry out their own chemical risk assessment for their use if it does not fall within the uses covered by the supplier.
