2. Registration and pre-registration

Registration involves providing the authorities with certain information. The content of the registration file depends on the tonnage class concerned:

  • less than one ton per year: no registration required;

  • from 1 to 10 tons per year: information specified in Annex VII of the REACH Regulation;

  • from 10 to 100 tons per year: information specified in Annexes VII and VIII;

  • from 100 to 1,000 tons per year: information specified in Annexes VII, VIII, and IX;

  • more than 1,000 tons per year: information specified in Annexes VII, VIII, IX, and X.
