5. You are the notifier of the substance: obligations under the CLP Regulation
The ELINCS system predates the REACh and CLP regulations, which means that notification dossiers are based on the DSD classification and labeling criteria. In application of the CLP regulation and the obligation to register substances and classifications/labels in the new inventory, all ELINCS dossiers must be updated to include classification according to CLP criteria (via IUCLID 5 only).
