How can information contained in the SDS be verified in the REACh dossier?
The detailed description of toxicology studies includes the results of biochemical and histological analyses, for example in the carcinogenesis study on methylene chloride: inhalation doses in three groups: 0, 2,000 and 4,000 ppm.
Kidneys: the incidence of morphological changes in renal tubules is increased between control and test animals: in male mice: control (6/50, 12%), low dose (11/49, 22%), high dose (20/50, 40%) in female mice: control (8/49, 16%); low dose (23/48, 48%); high dose (23/47, 49%).
