Sharps must be disposed of in plastic drums and jerrycans (standard NF X 30-505), or in single-use sharps boxes and mini-collectors (standard NF X 30-500).

Solid waste from infectious healthcare activities must be placed in single-use plastic bags (NF X 30-501 standard) or in "combined" packaging (cardboard box and plastic bag).
