2. Signing an agreement with a service provider

Any producer of medical waste who entrusts its disposal to a service provider must draw up an agreement with the latter. This agreement must specify the various stages of the service: supply of packaging, identification of packaging, monitoring of collection through to disposal, transport and compliance with regulatory deadlines. It is in this agreement that the collector defines the limits of his service and ensures the safety of his agents (nature of the waste collected, conditions for refusal of acceptance).

The contract or agreement signed with the service provider in charge of disposing of DASRI may replace the agreement if it includes all the compulsory information listed in Appendix I of arrêté du 7 septembre 1999 relating to the control...
