3. How does respiratory sensitization work?
Humoral-mediated allergy results in the production of antibodies and immunoglobulins. Manifestations are essentially respiratory.
There are no validated animal tests. Consequently, the assessment of the hazard of these respiratory sensitizers is a posteriori, based on observations in humans only.
