5. Our advice
5.1 Detect sensitizing substances
Skin and respiratory sensitization are disabling. It is not always possible to substitute the substance with a non-sensitizing one. In this case, the induction dose is very low, so does not give rise to warning signals prior to the allergic reaction.
There are no tests to assess the photosensitizing power of chemicals and medications. If in doubt, avoid contact.
You must ensure that operators and users of these substances are protected against accidental and regular exposure.
