INTRODUCTION
As failures can affect the operation of production equipment, it is necessary to implement a reliability analysis method in order to identify them. FMECA is one such method. Based on this analysis, you will be able to estimate the risks associated with failures, and then implement corrective actions during operation or maintenance of the equipment.
This document defines the Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) method and its application to production equipment and equipment indirectly linked to a production system. It also explains how to carry out a FMEA analysis of production equipment.
