5.1 Don't carry out the self-diagnosis alone!
Consider this diagnosis as a project, and set up a team to carry it out, which could include a project manager (if possible with notions of, or at least an appetite for, CSR), members of management and representatives of the main departments concerned (purchasing, human resources, general services...) depending on your organization. Involving interested parties in this diagnosis will also make it easier for you to involve them in your future approach.
