6. Mistakes to avoid
6.1 Don't look for novelty for novelty's sake
Faced with the new features of ISO 9001:2015, one might be tempted to respond with an imperative for new features in one's quality management system, especially in terms of resources and tools.
It's important to be wary of the "magical thinking" effect, which tends to attribute exceptional benefits to the use of new tools. For example, performing a SWOT analysis does not guarantee an improvement in the company's strategy, nor in its operational implementation.
Of course, new methods and visions often require the use of new tools, but let's not turn things upside down: vision and reflection come first, then the tools.
