Continuous improvement
Recurring process of enriching the occupational health and safety management system to achieve improvements in overall OHS performance in line with the organization's OHS policy.
Audit
Systematic, independent and documented process for objectively obtaining and evaluating audit evidence to determine the extent to which the organization's defined management system audit criteria are met.
Danger
A source or situation that may cause injury or damage to health, property or the workplace environment, or a combination of these.
Risk assessment
The general process of estimating the extent of risk and deciding on its acceptability.
