5. Preventing and protecting against risks

5.1 For noise

When a risk assessment reveals the existence of risks for workers, the employer must implement measures adapted to the problems and urgency of the situation, in consultation with the health, safety and working conditions committee (CHSCT) or, failing that, with employee representatives.

A rational approach to reducing noise-related risks begins with collective prevention solutions.

Solutions that affect the working environment and can be adopted as far upstream as possible should therefore be considered first and foremost, such as :

  • repair or eliminate the source of noise ;

  • designing the workspace ;

  • organize...
