3. What should I do if I want to withdraw a heading?

If a heading disappears from the nomenclature, the installations previously subject to it are downgraded and no longer come under the jurisdiction of legislation on installations classified for environmental protection. The general requirements or the prefectoral authorization order (for the parts exclusively concerning this former heading) cease to apply from the publication of the decree modifying the nomenclature.

Attention

The decommissioning of your facilities does not exempt you from the application of general environmental regulations.
