5. Mistakes to avoid

5.1 Don't forget to check your inspection body's accreditation

It is imperative that you check your organization's accreditation, and in particular the categories for which it is competent at the time you call upon it, even if it guarantees that it is accredited. Approval for certain categories may be withdrawn by order of the Ministry of the Environment. These orders are also published in the Journal officiel de la République française . If an inspection is carried out by a non-approved body, the validity of your periodic inspection may be called into question, and you run the risk of not complying with the deadlines set by the regulations.
