1. Choose an approved inspection body

Inspection bodies must be approved by the Minister for the Environment. Approval is granted under certain conditions.

The body must first be accredited by the French Accreditation Committee (COFRAC) or another accreditation body that is a signatory to the multilateral agreement established within the framework of the European Coordination of Accreditation Bodies (EA), based on standard NF EN ISO CEI 17020 (General criteria for the operation of the different types of bodies performing inspection).
