3. After the survey
After the last day of the survey :
The investigating commissioner can supplement his information by calling on any person or organization he wishes.
He also draws up a procès-verbal (PV) of the observations he has received and those he has formulated himself, then sends it (or hands it in personally) within eight days to the petitioner, who must send him a reply within twelve days.
The investigating commissioner then draws up his report. This contains all the details of the inquiry, including the people interviewed, the oral and written observations received, petitions, counter-proposals, the minutes transmitted and the memorandum received in response. The report also sets out the actions taken by the CE (people questioned, site visits, checks on postings, anomalies noted,...
