2. Identify public information obligations

Two situations need to be distinguished.

  • The first is when environmental information relating to your facility must be spontaneously made available to the public: this is when the declaration receipt is issued, and then, if your facility is subject to periodic inspection, when the inspection report is drawn up.

  • In the second, the public takes the initiative in requesting access to environmental information relating to your facility: this is the information request, which can be made at any time during the operation of your facility.
