6. Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a conventional environmental authorization application and a regularization application?

Regulations make no distinction between the two. However, the petitioner must take this into account in his drafting, differentiating between the current state (at the time the application is submitted) and what he envisages, and specifying the timeframes for commissioning (particularly for upgrades).

How long does it take to file a regularization application?

There are two possible scenarios. If you have initiated the procedure, it is in your interest to submit the file as quickly as possible. If the Environmental Inspector has initiated the process and issued you with a formal notice, you must comply with the deadline specified in the notice.
