3. Identify the penalties incurred if you fail to meet your obligations

At any time, the competent administrative authority has the power to impose administrative penalties on you if you fail to take the necessary preventive and remedial measures. The procedure and penalties that can be imposed are similar to those provided for under ICPE regulations (see ICPE and Administrative Liability sheet [FIC 0099] ), with :

  • the official statement that you have failed to take appropriate preventive and remedial action;

  • a prefectoral formal notice, in which the prefect sets a deadline by...
