4. Phase 3: Check

The verification phase defines the requirements for ensuring that the system is operating correctly, and for taking any necessary measures to correct any deviations. Verification and corrective action must enable systematic processing and control.

4.1 Performance measurement and monitoring – Chapter 4.5.1 of OHSAS 18001

The company must regularly monitor and measure the main operations presenting a significant risk (SR). The measurements provided must be reliable and reproducible.

In concrete terms, in conjunction with RS, it will be necessary to identify the parameters that can be measured and to set up a monitoring system for these measurements.
