5. How do you define the monitoring program and plan?
The operator must :
formalize its aging management and control methodology through a monitoring program covering the entire site, each MMRI and each MMRI component;
define the nature and frequency of inspections to be carried out.
The monitoring plan can be defined on the basis of :
reliability calculations and/or experience feedback (users, suppliers) and/or construction rules and standards ensuring a minimum risk reduction of 10 ;
applicable regulatory requirements or insurance rules;
suppliers' maintenance specifications and recommendations;
periodic unit shutdowns (scheduled or regulatory shutdowns).
