6. Mistakes to avoid

6.1 Don't forget to inform the prefecture as soon as possible of any nomenclature changes that concern you.

If you wait too long, you run the risk that the prefecture will not be aware of your situation within one year of the publication of the decree modifying the nomenclature, and that you will not be able to retain the benefit of acquired rights, which will enable your facilities to operate without having initiated the administrative procedures linked to the classification of your facilities (authorization, registration or declaration).
