What is a significant change?
This refers to any modification made to the facility, its mode of use or its surroundings, resulting in a significant change to the elements of the declaration, registration or authorization application file. You must inform the prefect of these modifications.
If the Prefect deems the modifications to be "substantial", he may ask you to submit a new dossier. A modification is considered "substantial" when it is likely to result in dangers or inconveniences for the interests referred to in Article L. 511-1 of the Code de l’environnement .
