1. Are you faced with waste?

As defined in article L. 541-1-1 of the Code de l’environnement website, waste is an object or substance which the holder discards or intends to discard.

For example, an unvulcanized rubber purge that cannot be reintroduced into the process would be waste. On the other hand, a machined scrap that can be reused in the process is not considered waste.

So the first step is to list all the objects or substances from your business that you intend to get rid of.
