3. How are investigations conducted and decisions made?

At the end of the consultations, and in the light of the conclusions drawn by the Prefect of the département, the inspectorate of classified installations will draw up a report with its proposals. These will take the form of a :

  • toggle ;

  • dry" recording;

  • registration with additional requirements ;

  • refusal.

In the event of refusal or the implementation of additional measures, the inspection report and proposals will be submitted to the Conseil départemental de l'environnement et des risques sanitaires et technologiques (CoDERST) for its opinion, after discussion with the operator.

The prefect must inform the applicant of this decision, forwarding the ICPE inspector's report 15 days...
