3. Individual declaration receipt

Legislation provides for a special declaration receipt to be issued in the event of a change of operator at a facility, regardless of the classification system (authorization, registration or declaration).

In this particular case, the new operator has one month after taking over the business to declare the change to the Prefect.

The declaration states :

• in the case of a natural person: surname, forenames and place of residence of the new operator;

• in the case of a legal entity: its name or corporate name, its legal form, the address of its registered office and the capacity of the person signing the declaration.

On receipt, the Prefect will issue the new operator with a free receipt for this declaration.
