2. Self-monitoring by operators of facilities subject to authorization

A facility's authorization decree may require the operator to carry out ongoing checks on its discharges and/or impact on the environment, known as self-monitoring.

2.1 Are you concerned by self-monitoring?

Yes, if you are an ICPE subject to the authorization regime (A) in the nomenclature and if your decree defines a self-monitoring obligation.

X.1. Self-monitoring

The operator must set up a monitoring program for discharges from its facilities. Measurements are carried out under the operator's responsibility and at the operator's expense, in accordance with the following conditions:
