1. Determine whether your installation is subject to the declaration system
Depending on the seriousness of the hazards and inconveniences that the plant may present, several cases are possible.
1.1 Classification schemes
There are three main grading regimes, from the least severe to the most severe:
D for facilities subject to declaration and, within this regime, DC for facilities subject to declaration and periodic inspection;
E for facilities subject to registration ;
A for facilities subject to environmental authorization and, within this regime, Seveso for the most dangerous facilities.
