2. How to use databases in hazard studies?

A SA involves three main risk analysis phases:

  • hazard identification ;

  • Preliminary risk analysis ;

  • Detailed risk analysis.

For each of these phases, the figure "Data banks to be used according to risk analysis phases" indicates which type of data bank to use (see How to choose your risk analysis method [FIC 0532] ).
