4. Innovate in HF welding

4.1 Combine different materials

  • Weld non-polar materials with polar materials: tests show that with a thickness of 50 μm of polar material, you can weld non-polar materials. Then think of combinations of several thermoplastics in coextruded, laminated or laminating to realize every function of your sheet or film.

  • Weld different structures: combine sheets or films of extruded or calendered thermoplastics with textiles, foams, nonwovens, etc.

  • HF weld metal fasteners to PVC or PU sheets.
