5. Our advice
To test new materials on your machine:
Before testing any new material, carry out trials with a known material of the same thickness and, if possible, PVC.
Determine the optimum parameters for good quality welding.
Without touching the settings you've just found, place the new material under the press and send a welding cycle.
Observe the variation of parameters on the machine during welding.
The machine has to reach certain values for the weld to be good. If you don't reach them, then modify the parameters: power, time, tool temperature, etc.
