1. When should you choose rotation welding?

1.1 Prerequisites for choosing rotation welding

You will need :

  • parts capable of rotating about an axis of revolution for at least one of the parts;

  • a clean parting line (raw material) ;

  • compatibility between materials;

  • mechanically resistant parts to withstand :

    • the pressure required for weld adhesion,

    • torsion during rotation (previous phases) ;

  • choose the parting line design :

    • two relatively flat surfaces,

    • a special profile...
